My first visit to this site. It's informative, easy to use and has has one of my favorite B&B's, the Wolf-Schlesinger House, listed. My favorite niece, Patty, highly recommended the Inn. Since she has great taste, I tried it, I liked it and plan to return. re: the site: I live in a historic district and we've talked about a web site. This is a great example of what should be included.

I love your website! It is very informative. My grandparents, Livvie and Olan Morgan, are buried in St. Francisville and I am looking forward to coming and visiting their gravesite very soon. My great aunt, Allene Haralson, lived for many many years at 'Anchorage'. She was an English teacher in St. Francisville schools and was an artist. My parents have several of her paintings. She died several years ago in Ruston, LA. I have not been to St. Francisville since my grandmother died in 1966, so I am curious if 'Anchorage' still exists, especially the house. I do not know what the address was and I don't know if my father would remember it. So, I would appreciate any information you might have on it. Thank you, Martha Street

I can't believe it has taken me so long to find this page. I think I have just spent 2 hours reading at this website. Much faster/better than our weekly paper I subscribe to. I especially appeciate the insight on our local politics. I will tell others about this. What a great local forum. Thank You Pat, I can tell you have spent many hours here. Please don't stop.

For my Desktop Publishing Class, we had to do a travel brochure. I chose my childhood recollection of the Plantation Country of Louisiana (West Feliciana and Pointe Coupee Parishes), along with a few tastefully placed photos. Most had never heard of the beautiful tourist attractions in my brochure but was familiar with the tales of the Myrtle Plantation from one of the local television station's ghost stories. Keep up the good work. Ray Evelyn Hansford Dawson High - Class of 1965

Thanks for adding to the web site the photos of the folks who helped blaze the Blackfork Bayou hiking trail in the Cat Island Refuge. Great photos of the area. Some of the workers however don't possess the same photographic qualities that the natural area has. Hikers can rest assure, however, that the trail is well marked and lends for a wonderful hike.
