History Lane |
|
Take a horse & buggy ride down
the History Lane, where you will find our favorite links to St. Francisville and Feliciana Parishes'
History and Facts. The History Lane is a great place to learn the past culture, genealogy, plantation life, historic cemeteries, plantation structures ......
The success of History Lane depends on you, so submit your favorite links with a two sentence
description. The more participation, the more beneficial to all viewers. |
|
Throughout the Feliciana Guide Post you will notice a history button, which clicked will bring you
to a history lesson on the subject. We hope to make FGPost a great learning tool and a history
storage vessel for students, historians and general interested persons. FGPost would like to
thank local Historians, Elizabeth Dart with the WF Historical Society and Anne Butler with
Greenwood Press and the WF Historical Society for their submissions to get this project off the
ground. FGPost welcomes any noncommercial history, architecture study, etc... |
To submit: Although this page "History Lane"
will be confined to History of the St. Francisville, Bayou Sara and Feliciana Parishes, plans
are underway to create other similar pages under different categories. A reference of Our Parish will be created for your use. So if you have links for other categories please submit them now.
We do require the link to be noncommercial. Also note the links on this page will be
categorized once topics & divisions are decided on.
